Congratulations to our 2024 Award Recipients!

Lee / Haney Founders Award for Senior Leadership

The objective of this senior leadership award is to annually recognize those regional ACHE members that embody the mission and vision of ACHE. The award is named in honor of John Haney, LFACHE, and the late J. Michael Lee, DBA, LFACHE, founding members of our Eastern Pennsylvania ACHE chapter.

Award Criteria:

  • Occupational Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown the highest of achievements in their respective organization that have resulted in clinical, operational, financial and (or) community success.
  • ACHE Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown leadership in either ACHE of Eastern PA or ACHE (national) with a history of achievement as recognized by peers and other associated membership.
  • Community Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown leadership in a minimum of one organization where their participation and leadership have been both beneficial to the community and the organization itself.

 

ACHE of Eastern PA Early Careerist Award

The objective of this early careerist award is to annually recognize an ACHE of Eastern PA member or fellow under the age of 40 who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the field of healthcare management.

Award Criteria:

  • Occupational Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown increasing levels of responsibilities and achievements in their respective organization that have contributed to clinical, operational, financial and/or community success.
  • ACHE Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown active participation with ACHE of Eastern PA.
  • Community Achievements: Qualified candidates will have shown active participation in a minimum of one organization where their contributions have been both beneficial to the community and/or the organization itself.
Lee/Haney Founders Award for Senior Leadership: Allen Boxbaum, MS, MBA, Senior Vice President, Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute.

ACHE Regents Awards

The ACHE Regent presents two awards each year to outstanding healthcare executives recognized as “Early Careerist” or “Senior-Level”. Criteria for each of the awards includes:

Early Career Healthcare Executive Award:

  • ACHE Member
  • Demonstrates leadership ability, innovative and creative management, and executive ability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community.
  • Participates in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities.
  • Participates and has been a positive influence in civic/community activities and projects.

Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award:

  • Early Career Healthcare Executive Award criteria (see above), as well as:
  • ACHE Fellow
  • CEO, COO or another senior-level executive title within an organization.
  • Contributes to the development of others in the healthcare profession.
